Your karaoke system needs a working internet connection to stream songs and stay up to date.
Avoid captive portal networks
Some hotels, offices, and event venues ask guests to open a browser and accept terms or enter room information before connecting. The karaoke system cannot complete this type of sign-in. Ask the venue for a regular guest network and password, or use your phone's hotspot instead.
Before setup
- Confirm that the Wi-Fi signal reaches the area where the system will be installed.
- Have the Wi-Fi network name and password ready for the driver.
- Keep a phone hotspot available as a backup when using venue Wi-Fi.
