Home Superstar is for private households with up to 20 guests; Event Basic and Event Superstar bring a 22-inch screen (and an 80-inch projector on Superstar) for offices, restaurants, community halls and larger rooms of up to 40. Booking a Machine

How far in advance should I book?

You can book up to 6 months ahead and as little as 2 days before your party. We recommend booking at least one month before to make sure we have a system available. For December, book as soon as possible — we often sell out!

Can I book for a certain date?

To check availability for a specific date, use our online booking form. If the date is available you’ll be able to complete your booking; if not, you’ll see a message letting you know.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments by American Express, Mastercard, and Visa.

How do I know you’ll show up?

We’ve been in business since 2013 and have completed thousands of successful rentals. Feel free to check out all our Google reviews on our reviews page. If you still have questions, give us a call — we’re happy to chat!

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than two weeks before your rental date: full refund less a 10% fee. Between two weeks and 48 hours before: 50% refund. Less than 48 hours before: no refund.

Our Karaoke System

Does the system need a WiFi connection?

Yes — it needs internet to stream songs and stay updated. Home Wi-Fi works great. If the venue has a captive portal login page, use a regular guest Wi-Fi or your phone’s hotspot instead.

Can I listen to music from my phone?

Yes! When you’re not singing karaoke you can use your phone, tablet, or laptop to play music (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, etc.). All necessary cables and adapters are included.

What do you need from me?

All we need is one or two electrical outlets! We’ll take care of the rest. If you have a TV or projector we’ll even connect our system to it. You don’t even need to be present for installation — as long as we know where to set up.

How easy is it to use?

Super easy! You pick a song by filtering, searching, or browsing top songs, add it to the queue, and wait your turn. That’s it!

Do I need a host? Can I book a host?

No host is required — the system is fully self-serve and guests manage the song queue themselves. We do not offer a hosting service.

What if something goes wrong with the equipment?

Our team is available by phone throughout your rental. If there’s a technical issue we can’t resolve remotely, we’ll send a replacement as quickly as possible.

Can I add songs?

No — updating our systems is a lengthy process, so we only do it periodically. Check our current catalogue to see what’s available.

How do I pick songs?

Use your own phone to filter by genre, search by title or artist, browse top songs, and add songs to the queue.

What languages do you have?

Most of our songs are in English and French. We also have songs in Chinese, Filipino, Hebrew, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.

Do you deliver to my address?

To find out if we deliver to your address (and whether a delivery surcharge applies), enter your address on our booking form.

My party is outside your delivery zone — can I still book?

Contact us! Depending on the distance, we may be able to arrange delivery for an additional fee, or discuss a self-pickup option.

Can you arrive at a specific time?

We offer delivery windows: morning (between 10am and 1pm) or afternoon (1pm and 5pm). Our delivery driver will confirm the exact time the week of your party.

Can I keep the system for more than one day?

Absolutely! Just select the additional days option on our booking form. Each extra day is $199.

Can you deliver to a venue or event space?

Yes! We deliver to homes, offices, event halls, community centres, restaurants, and more. Just provide the venue address and any access instructions.

Delivery, setup and pickup

Pick a morning (10 am to 1 pm) or afternoon (1 pm to 5 pm) window at checkout; your driver confirms the exact time the week of the party. We bring the system in, connect it, test the sound and show you the queue and microphones, then return for pickup at the arranged time, usually the next day. Ottawa deliveries often involve a security desk or loading dock at a government-area office, an elevator booking in a Centretown condo tower, or a bridge crossing to Hull, Aylmer or Chelsea, so add those details to your booking. Outdoors, a covered patio with an outlet works in dry weather; the gear cannot be left in the rain.

Questions about karaoke rental in Ottawa

Do you deliver to Gatineau, Aylmer and Chelsea?

Yes. The Quebec side of the river is part of our regular delivery zone, including Hull, Aylmer and Chelsea, usually 15 to 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Enter the full address in the availability checker and the delivery fee for that location appears before checkout. Tell us about parking or building access in the booking notes.

How many French songs are in the library?

The library holds 67,000+ songs, and it is mostly English and French, with Spanish, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Hebrew, Russian and more on top. Guests search from their own phones, so a bilingual Ottawa crowd can go from a Québécois classic to an English chart-topper without touching the machine. The catalogue is updated periodically.

Can you set up in a government office or a downtown condo?

Yes. We deliver to offices, condos, hotels and campus buildings across Ottawa. Arrange visitor access, a loading dock or an elevator booking with your building ahead of time and add it to your booking notes with the room number. The system also needs Wi-Fi, and a corporate network with a login page will not connect, so ask for the guest network or bring a phone hotspot.

Can I keep it for the weekend, and when should I book for December?

Weekend rentals are easy: book your first night and add extra days at checkout, $99 per day on Home Superstar and $199 per day on the Event packages, with pickup after your last night. For December, book as soon as you know the date. Office holiday parties land on the same few weekends and dates sell out early. A surcharge applies on Christmas-period dates.

Do you deliver to Rockland, Carleton Place, Kemptville and Arnprior?

Yes, these towns sit at the outer edge of our zone, roughly 35 to 55 minutes from downtown. Enter the exact address to see the delivery fee, which is based on driving time and shown before you pay. Beyond that range, you can request a delivery quote or arrange customer pickup.
